Biography

Margarita holds a master’s degree in law, whereas she graduated from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, Faculty of Law in 2020. She is eligible for enrollment in the Sofia Bar Association.

In her work Margarita is mainly focused in the fields of contractual law, commercial transactions and corporate law. She also cooperates with research on matters in financial and banking law, litigation and is involved in labor migration related projects.

As part of the of Eversheds Sutherland team Margarita is involved in attending a variety of clients, such as credit institutions, IT companies, retail and wholesale companies, etc. She works on diverse commercial law projects, as she prepares corporate documents for incorporation of companies, changes in circumstances and/or restructuring, contracts and agreements, conducts research on regulatory and compliance aspects of the Bulgarian legislation. In this area, she also participates in the preparation of due diligence reports, reviews and consults on internal corporate documents, as well as on agreements with companies’ contractors and suppliers.

In the field of labor migration as part of employment law, Margarita can assist you throughout the whole process of obtaining a permit for access to the labor market in Bulgaria, as well as a permit for permanent or long-term residence in the country. She has experience in the relocation of employees of multinational companies in Bulgaria, providing legal assistance during the progress of the procedure.

Margarita is also interested in litigation, as she is researching possibilities for legal remedies in a variety of cases, preparing court documents and being actively involved in both civil and administrative matters, including in the field of consumer protection, labor, contractual and commercial law.
